Here is it another week gone by without a post. It has been super busy. 2 nights of the after school program and 1 night at Red Robin for my school’s spirit night. This week has been especially great for lance. He has accomplished so many things this week.
First, he has his first loose tooth. He is thrilled and wants to buy an apple every day at school in hopes it will come out:) He wiggles it constantly and we have been reading stories like The Tooth Fairy and Moose’s Loose Tooth! I get a weird thrill about yanking out teeth so I can’t wait until it’s ready, that baby is mine!!!
Second, he has mastered level 1 of the new Super Mario Brothers game on Wii. He is now in level 2 and doing great. He plays better than JR and I. JR couldn’t sleep the other night and was up playing Wii until 1am. Guess he’s trying to practice so his almost 6 year old doesn’t put him to shame:)
Third, Lance has become a wiz in math. He has brought home 2 subtraction papers that he has done and didn’t need to use counters or draw pictures. His teacher commented at the top that he is the first one done! Good thing he got his daddy’s mental math abilities!
and last, he brought home his second quarter awards yesterday and he received principal’s honor roll, a citizenship award, and perfect attendance. The awards are a little late coming home due to all the snow days. We are so blessed that he is doing so well in school and are very proud of him. I hope it continues to come so easy to him throughout his entire school career.
It was a big week for Lance but Ryan is doing great too. He brought home a Pp book from daycare that he can “read” word for word. He is recognizing some sight words on his own like can, we, see, and it. His name writing is improving and he is pretty good on that Wii too. It is amazing how quickly they pick it up.
Lance and Ryan, Mommy and Daddy are very proud of you. We love you very much!!
First Loose Tooth (it is the one that is sticking forward a bit)
Didn’t even need to draw pictures

Good Job Lance....keep it up because one day your mom won't be able to help with your homework and don't ask her about the magic/crazy 10 thing!
Wow! Way to go Lance!
