July 4th

Today has been a great Independence day so far. The only snag is that Daddy isn’t here:( We’re used to it but it doesn’t make it any better.

Our day started out with going to Church. The kids were decked out in their red, white, and blue and all three matched of course!! Then we headed home to gather up our pool gear and head to Nana’s for crabs and swimming. My uncle Steve and cousin Becca are here from NC and my aunt Lisa is here from TX. We are thrilled to get to see them and spend time with them. The whole gang is headed to the Blue crabs game tonight for some good ‘ole American baseball and fireworks. Should be a blast!

Despite all the fun, food, and family I do thank God that we are able to enjoy our freedoms. So many other people all over the world are not as fortunate as we are and I try to remember that even when this country seems to be going down hill at times. Thank you Lord for all of the blessings that you have given to me and my family, I am forever grateful.

This picture is random but this is how I found my 3 guys last night. Curled up in the recliner watching DOG the bounty hunter!!! Just great! That’s what happens when daddy is in charge:) Ryan said, “Mommy, they are taking those bad guys to jail!”
