I didn’t say why we were in Williamsburg. Well, we entered to win a car at the blue crabs stadium a while back. Instead of winning a car we won 2 vacations. Great right?? Not without strings attached!! We had to go attend a tour of the resort and basically listen to these people try to sell us something. We figured a time share. The guy who dealt with us was so full of BS it was piling up in the car!!! He was quite the annoyance. Despite that, the deals they were offering were quite good. It wasn’t a time share it was actually purchasing part of the resort. There is a deed and once it is paid for that’s it, it’s yours forever to do whatever you want. We can sell it, pass it to the kids, or will it. So all we cared about was the terms. Basically once you are an owner you can travel anywhere anytime and the fee is VERY LOW. Less than a nights stay at a hotel! The only hang up was the $4000 deposit they wanted, once we told them we couldn’t make the deposit they came back with a much lower offer that included a 4 bedroom unit as opposed to a 2 bedroom and 2 weeks a year instead of 1. The deposit was much lower so we took it. Suckers!!!!! In addition to our 2 weeks we can take as many weekend trips to Williamsburg since that is where the property is we bought. We have a manual about an inch think full of resorts we can choose from all over the world. We can also use it on cruises and take up to 12 people with us since we have a 4 bedroom unit. There are plenty of places in Myrtle beach we can use and only pay $134 for the whole week!!! We are very excited and have a bonus week to use before 2009 is over. I want to go to Massanutten the week after Christmas for snow tubing and the indoor water park that looks just like great wolfe lodge.
