NightTastic and the beach

Yesterday we spent mid day at downtown disney to finish up our shopping. The boys rode the carousel and found some souviniers. After that we headed back to Magic Kingdom for some favorite rides and the NightTastic parade and fireworks. We got great views of both this time!! The boys wanted to ride Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and the Mickey’s Philharmagic show again and we squeezed in Goofy’s roller coaster, the race cars, and the train. It was another late night but a good one.

Today we headed to Clearwater beach. I figured we should experience the gulf beaches since we are so close. The boys had a fantastic time, they are quite the beach bums!! We even lucked out and was able to park at the firehouse right at the beach entrance. It was a good thing because it threatened to storm and everyone was leaving the beach so we retreated to the firehouse for about 30 minutes until it passed. Never did rain a lot but did spray a bit. We are now back and getting ready to head to dinner at Benihana, Mmmm. Tomorrow we will be home bound and are planning to make it to the Raleigh area for the night and then to Maryland Sunday morning. We have to stop for some NC BBQ while we are there and bring some home for Pop Pop:) Pray for our travels, see you all soon!

There are other good ones but I will post them later. Funny thing…the bathing suit Ryan has on is a size 2 from GAP, he has been wearing it for 3 years!!! What am I going to do with him??? He also said something funny at the park…He wanted a “Final cake like Lance” He meant funnel cake:) We have also been observing different license plates around here and Lance saw a Florida tag on a car just like ours. He said, “I know that’s not our car because that is not an American tag” We laughed because our new tags have flags and fireworks on them, he translates that to an American tag:)
