Well it has been a long 3 weeks but Matteson came home today!!! It has been a waiting game for a few days but all is well and he is home at last. Still has a long way to go but at least he is here and not so far away. Of course we were all there with bells on:) He may wish he was back in the hospital after all this commotion:) Dad and JR went over to get him and brought him home in the ambulance, a first class ride:) He sure is lucky to have a father in law and Brother in law with connections. I am going to take dinner over tomorrow, poor thing looks thin and he won’t gain any weight with Nicki cooking for him so Jen to the rescue:) On the menu…Goulash, his favorite. Meatloaf to come:)

Lance wanted to help push him around back, he is so into helping
They got him in and to the recliner to watch the rest of the 49er game. Couldn’t have asked for a better transition so far. There will be lots of therapists and nurses coming in and out so still a long way to go but so far so good! We are all still praying that all goes well and that his recovery continues to get easier.

That is the sweetest welcoming committee I have ever seen. Also very proud of JR and Steve who are always there. God has blessed this family & I know he will continue to heal Matt. So glad he is home.
