Snow Tubing

We just returned home from our snow tubing weekend. We had a great time and will definitely do it again. We got in a lot of tubing despite the fact we didn’t get to go this morning before heading home. It was drizzling and cold so we opted out. Friday, we arrived around 3:30pm and checked into our room. The slopes opened at 4 so we unpacked and suited up. We got in about 2 hours of tubing before heading in to dinner. Lance and Ryan loved it and thank goodness for the lift!!! They were worn out from the little bit of walking we had to do once we got to the top of the hill. We took a variety of trips including double tubing, single tubing, 4 at a time, 6 at a time, and family tubing. Saturday morning we got up early and had breakfast. We headed out at about 9:30 and tubed until 2:00pm. By then the kids were cranky so we headed in for baths and a nap. We ate an early dinner then back at it again until 9pm. In addition to the tubing the kids loved the kiddie area with a huge snow mountain for climbing, kiddie slopes, and a train ride. There were fire pits going and a magician entertained us for a while on Saturday. It was a great trip…Thanks Mom and Dad!!!!!

Here are some pictures, Nicki has more that I have to get from her. JR didn’t pack our large memory card so mine got full!!

Poor dad got injured the first night!! He brushed it off and was back at it. He was unaware that he chose the Extreme lane. There were speed humps and he flew right off. It is just a scrape and minor compared to some of the injuries we saw. Stay away from the extreme lanes!!!
