We have had a great day to say the least. It began with digging into what the Easter Bunny brought then on to a whirl wind of getting ready for church. The kids are always dressed to a “T” anyway but Easter Sunday is extra special. We were all decked out in our purple and hopefully we got some good pictures with Nicki’s camera. Church was great and I always enjoy being able to reflect on the real reason we celebrate Easter and that is the resurrection of Jesus. After all, we would not have the guarantee of eternal life without it and it gives me peace to know that life here on earth will end but that I have the promise of an eternity in heaven through Jesus Christ. It worries me that not everyone has that promise.
After Church we came home to get ready for Easter dinner. Everyone came to our house which is the holiday entertaining location. We love it!! The food was great, the kids hunted Easter eggs, we all walked off our meal, and then home for dessert, yum!! Now we are all tuckered out and ready to rest!
Yesterday Brynn and Blake from next door came over the play a while. I loved it!!! Kept the kids busy for a while!
