Happy Birthday Lance!

5 years ago today we were arriving at Civista Medical center in hopes of welcoming a new baby boy into our lives. After a long day with a GOOD epidural, Lance David Gimmel arrived at 3:43pm. Weighing 8 pounds 3.3 oz, we had a beautiful baby boy. He has brough us so much joy in only 5 short years. It is hard to believe that the infant that once depended on us for his every want and need can now do so much independently. Almost ready for kindergarten Lance is reading, writing his name among many other words, and dresses himself. He is extremely intelligent. We have truely been blessed. Today is a big day, he is taking cupcakes and ice cream to daycare and will have everyone over for birthday pizza, cake, and of course presents this evening.
