Lance's new pet

Well it is a pretty lazy Saturday, not much going on. It was drizzly this morning then cleared up. Lance went on an outing with the boys of the family, Daddy, Pop Pop, and Uncle Matt. They went to look at a grass cutting job in Accokeek. Lance wasn't thrilled about going at first but ended up having a good time. When they got home he was anxious to show us a new pet he had found...a turtle. He named him Horton. It was really cute to see how excited he was and it made me remember finding turtles as a kid. We had to make him a pen in the backyard and Nana cut up some tomatos for him. Lance thinks this Horton is going to be a permanent fixture but we are leaving for vacation on Monday. We may have to go and release him in a park tomorrow, not sure how that is going to go over. Here are some pictures.
