We have just finished our first full day at Cocoa Beach, Fl. We are officially in love with this place!!! The beach is amazing….not crowded, warm, calm, and blue!!! A really great place for a family. We are staying at the Ron Jon Cape Caribe resort and I highly recommend it! There are so many amenities for the kids to enjoy and we are just having a wonderful time.
Before I get to the pictures, the whole reason we are in sunny Florida is because Lance competed in the TKD National Championship. It was definitely an experience. He did not medal in forms but he did an exceptional job!!! He did get third place for sparring but he was not able to beat his rival from Annapolis!!! We are going home to make it our mission before next year! He will prevail over him next time for sure! He wasn’t pleased with third place so hopefully that will be his own motivation. We had a good time with the team though and it is something we will do again.

We're proud of you Lance for being able to compete, no matter how you scored! Lots of kids can't even go that far... it's always good to have a goal ahead of you, but be proud for how you did in your first time competing on a stage like that! We sure are! xoxo
